Who we are
We bring experience in dance, creative arts, psychology, digital culture, theatre and community facilitation.


Xiaowan Shen
Xiaowan leads the overall pathway, connects the nine sessions and holds the quality of facilitation across Move, Connect, Belong. She trained in Dance Studies & Education and Dance Creation & Performance at Beijing Normal University. Her practice brings together choreography, Laban Movement Analysis, embodied education and arts-based work in hospitals, schools and community settings.

Jiaqiao Luo (Karo)
Karo is studying the Master of Creative Arts Therapy at the University of Melbourne and holds a BFA in Dance Choreography. Her experience spans community health facilitation, youth dance teaching and social-media storytelling. She contributes to session design, participant engagement and outreach.

Shenyi Yuan (Sami)
Sami is studying the Master of Dance Movement Therapy at the University of Melbourne, with a background in Psychology and Digital Culture. She has experience creating mental-wellbeing content and supporting informal spoken-English practice. She brings inclusive communication, reflection design and cross-cultural community sensitivity to the team.

Yulin Zhang (Cathy)
Cathy is studying the Master of Creative Arts Therapy at the University of Melbourne and trained in stage acting. Her experience includes immersive theatre, art-therapy assistance and large-scale musical production. She contributes storytelling, performance-based facilitation and event delivery.
