What Artogether is

Do something together firstGet to know one another as you go

A student-led arts community project creating easy ways for international students to meet, make and keep in touch.

We begin with picnics, campus walks, clay, music and cultural sharing, so meeting someone does not depend on one brave opening line.

In a new place, meeting people can seem to require a confident opening line, fluent conversation or an existing circle. We make the beginning easier: eat, walk, draw, move and make sound together. Conversation can start with the thing in your hands, and familiarity can come from seeing one another again.

One activity does not automatically become a community

We make it easierto meet again

Come

An easy activity gives you a reason to arrive without having to prepare or perform.

Connect

Walking, making, movement and sound give conversation more than one place to begin.

Contribute

Bring a dish, a song, a memory or an idea and change what the group makes together.

Continue

Return, recognise familiar faces and choose which connections to carry beyond the activity.
